Yes sir! I was doing a bit of spring cleaning and I came across a whole bunch of stuff that was just taking up space, including some Doctor Who stuff. So I decided to give it away!

Does anybody remember this story?

Or better yet, the book it’s from?
I used to love this book, I think I used to have it, but I can’t remember for the life of me. The illustrations are extremely familiar.  

It’s from one of the “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” books. Those and Goosebumps were what scared the crap out of me as a child, they’re great.
